Horse-Races.Net Announces Its 2006 Triple Crown Coverage

Horse-Races.Net announces the unveiling of its 2006 Triple Crown coverage. Part of this coverage includes profiles for the top contenders for the Triple Crown races, focusing on the Kentucky Derby first. Additional horses will be added as new contenders emerge from the Triple Crown prep races.

Pickering, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) January 17, 2006 -- Horse-Races.Net, the Internet's oldest and largest independently operated horse racing information, news, and links website, today announces the unveiling of its Triple Crown coverage at http://www.horse-races.net/library/links-tcrown2006.htm . Part of this coverage includes profiles for the top contenders for the Triple Crown races, focusing on the Kentucky Derby first. Each horse's profile page includes a photograph of the horse, links to biographies of the horse's connections, past performance data, and pedigree information. In the weeks leading to the Kentucky Derby, these profile pages will be updated with prep race results and injury reports. Additional horses will be added as new contenders emerge from the Triple Crown prep races.

Also included is statistical info about past runnings of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes along with photos and results for the past several years. Links to informational resources online will be updated as more become available closer to the first Saturday in May. Live on location coverage of all three races, including the workouts during the days prior and the post position draws, is also planned. Full results, along with a large collection of photographs from the day, will be posted after each of the three races.

Horse-Races.Net founder, photographer, and editor Cindy Pierson Dulay said, "The Triple Crown and Kentucky Derby capture the imagination of horse racing fans everywhere, hoping to see another champion emerge. Following the contenders as they make their way to the big day is always fun, especially when the best start to separate themselves from their peers."

Writer and photographer Terence Dulay said, "We plan to give the Triple Crown races the same full coverage as in past years with as many photographs as possible to give fans the feeling of being there."
