Adacel Awarded New Simulation Contract with ENAV

New contact enables the creation of the largest civilian ATC training facility in Europe.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 17, 2006 -- Adacel, an industry leader in software integration, simulation development, and speech recognition technology, announced today that it has secured a new contract with the Italian air agency, ENAV. The new ENAV contract is for 26 MiniMax Part Task Tower (PTT) simulators.

The new PTT simulators employ the industry-leading MaxSim® voice recognition system and will also include the latest European ICAO upgraded phraseology. The contract is valued at 3.1 million Euros.

The 26 new PTT's will be deployed in conjunction with ENAV's 6 existing MaxSim® 270-degree Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulators currently in use at their Forli, Italy facility. The addition of these simulation systems will make this the largest civilian ATC training facility in Europe.
