Look Effects Adds Veteran Executive Producer

Hollywood’s Premier Visual Effects Facility Bolsters Stellar Line-up with Addition of Rebecca Ramsey

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 18, 2006 -- Look Effects, the Hollywood-based visual effects company whose credits include The Life Aquatic, the Passion of the Christ, Into the Blue, Malcolm in the Middle and Bones today announced the addition of 18-year industry veteran Rebecca Ramsey to the firm as Executive Producer. Look Effects (www.lookfx.com), renowned for its visual effects work in feature film, television and commercial productions, tapped Ramsey for her extensive experience in visual effects, motion graphics and design.

Ramsey, a member of both the Visual Effects Society and the Producers Guild of America, most recently worked as a freelance producer for Exopolis and Shine with Michael Riley and Bob Swensen on multiple projects in addition to executive producing responsibilities for various high-end visual effects and motion graphics boutiques. Ramsey began her career with R/Greenberg Associates (now Imaginary Forces), an industry leader in main titles, trailers and visual effects for film and television.

“Look is thrilled to be adding someone of Rebecca’s caliber to our staff,” said Look Effects Founder and President Mark Driscoll. “Rebecca brings a tremendous amount of talent, production experience and technical expertise to our firm and, with her extensive industry contacts, will greatly assist in contributing to the growth of our company and expansion of our new business initiatives.”

“Look Effects is at the forefront of the visual effects industry in terms of its artistry, technical excellence and the extraordinary product and level of service it provides clients and the craft of visual effects as a whole,” said Ramsey on joining the firm. “It was a logical decision for me to want to become part of their team. I look forward to lending my talents to the further growth of the company and broadening the level and depth of its clients and projects.”

Look Effects’ current visual effects clients include Bones (20th Century Fox Television), Malcolm in the Middle (Regency Television), Cold Case (CBS), Criminal Minds and Stick It! (Touchstone) as well as features The Fountain (Warner Brothers), Southland Tales (Cherry Road Films) and The Producers (Universal Pictures).
