New community-based Website launched as a resource for group travel and event planners to better service and provide information about Aspen as a group destination.

Aspen Groups™ (the Aspen Group Sales Alliance) has launched a new community-based Website to serve as an online information source for business incentive groups, corporate meeting planners, wedding coordinators, and even families interested in bringing a group or event to the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

The Aspen lodging properties and local Aspen destination marketing organizations collaborated to create a one-stop source for information specifically related to groups and events. “Aspen, Colorado is unique in that there are many creative and varied options for groups to choose from,” said Sarah DeMars, Director of Group Sales. “With this new organization, we are able to help groups of all sizes discover that Aspen is really accessible and can meet a variety of budgets and special needs.”

“The Website is another great tool for Aspen to attract and provide information for group leaders that before wasn’t as readily accessible,” said Lisa Weiss, Director of Marketing for the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA). “As the website evolves, we hope to continue to get the word out that our world class resort is available year-round for a plethora of group experiences.”

Aspen Groups™ provides full service and support for group and special event travel, including bulk air, lodging, lifts, group activities, conference space, and ground transportation. By representing the gamut of Aspen lodging properties, Aspen Groups™ is equipped with the resources to provide the ideal match for any and all your group needs.

The Aspen Group Sales Alliance was formed in 2005 as the official group sales entity for Aspen, in order to have a dedicated sales force to concentrate on marketing, promoting and selling Aspen exclusively to groups. Most of Aspen’s properties are members of this initiative, as are Aspen Chamber Resort Association ( and Stay Aspen Snowmass Central Reservations (
