It’s more important now than ever before to recognize this shift in the domain industry and adapt quickly.

Organizers of T.R.A.F.F.I.C. SILICON VALLEY, the world’s premier domain conference and expo, today announced the final schedule and speakers for its fourth show which will be held in Santa Clara, California, from January 30 through February 1, 2006.

During this past year, interest in and attention to domain names has skyrocketed. Acquisitions of domain portfolios and companies are well into the hundreds of millions of dollars and articles on domain names have been published by well known publications such as Business 2.0 and the Wall Street Journal in the last 45 days. Many financial institutions and investors have taken a more aggressive interest in this thriving marketplace. The primary goal of T.R.A.F.F.I.C. SILICON VALLEY is to educate and encourage investors and financial institutions to gain a better understanding of the many opportunities for investment, development and revenue streams within this vastly growing and extremely profitable industry.

SILICON VALLEY will take a slightly different approach than past T.R.A.F.F.I.C. shows. “In addition to sparking new ideas and advancements in the domain name marketplace,” said Rick Schwartz, co-Founder and CEO of the WORLD ASSOCIATION OF DOMAIN NAME DEVELOPERS, INC., the organization that oversees the T.R.A.F.F.I.C Conferences, “We are putting a significant financial spin on the Silicon Valley show. We believe that our speakers and panels capture that focus and will provide significant value to achieving our goal in educating and introducing investors to the domain channel. It’s more important now than ever before to recognize this shift in the domain industry and adapt quickly.” T.R.A.F.F.I.C. SILICON VALLEY is the first of its kind, as it will provide a platform for the financial world and domain world to meet face to face.
