iPREPpress announces another first in its mission to bring educational content to the iPod. By introducing TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) study guides for the iPod, foreign students can now study on their iPods to help gain admission to North American universities.

iPREPpress, the company that first brought Barnes and Noble’s SparkNotes study guides to the iPod is introducing another iPod first, English Tutor TeleCampus’ study guides for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). The iPod study guides currently target the Paper-based Test (PBT) and Computer-based Test (CBT) with the new Internet-based test (iBT) scheduled for May.

Like their 267 page paper counterparts, the iPod guides offer text based tips, strategies and drills but now include the audio listening comprehension drills so vital to successfully preparing and passing the TOEFL exam. Each guide is available as a download at

To gain admission to a North American university in September, 2006, students need to register to take the TOEFL, prepare to take the test, and compose an admission essay immediately as most university admission deadlines range from December to March.

“With 42 million iPods worldwide, foreign students seeking to study here now have a convenient and fun way to prepare for the TOEFL exam” said Kurt Goszyk, founder of iPREPpress. “Bringing educational content to the iPod is a natural step in the evolution of iPod content and making it available throughout the world is our mission.”

TOEFL Study Guides were created by Evonne Haley to aid foreign students in preparing for university admission. Through English Tutor TeleCampus, Evonne offers several tutoring packages geared toward the needs of the student.

“We’re excited about this collaboration,” said Evonne Haley. “The needs of students has always been the focus of the English Tutor TeleCampus and we have grown and changed to meet those needs with our online programs, e-mail courses, e-books, English speaking programs via webcam, and now iPod downloads.

The TOEFL Study Guides play on iPod Video, iPod Nano, iPod Photo, and 3rd generation and higher iPod and Mini models. For more information and pricing, please visit, http://www.ipreppress.com.
