Mr. Rebates Announces Over 700 Cash-Back Online Shopping Stores

Mr. Rebates, a cash-back online shopping portal, now has over 700 different cash-back stores to choose from. This wide selection of online stores gives members a large choice of name-brand and niche stores for all online shopping needs.

Mr. Rebates, (http://www.mrrebates.com), an online shopping portal, today announced the addition of the 700th merchant to its list of retail stores available to its members. Mr. Rebates offers cash-back on purchases made through its website at familiar stores, such as Best Buy, Dell, The Gap and Target.com.

This cash-back online shopping mall began in 2002 and offered its members approximately 300 merchants from which to shop. "We started with some of the bigger stores like JC Penney and Dell," said Mr. Rebates' founder, Craig Cassata. "Since the beginning, we’ve tried to add smaller stores and niche market retailers, along with more well known stores, to provide our members with the best variety of shopping on the Internet."

With the addition of the 700th merchant (for a complete list, view http://www.mrrebates.com/merchants/all_merchants.asp), Mr. Rebates now offers cash-back online shopping starting at one percent at stores such as Best Buy, up to 25 percent at some magazine subscription retailers, as well as posting online coupons, sales and specials for most vendors. The rebate varies, depending on the merchant, and is posted in an online account until the member cashes out. All that’s needed for a Mr. Rebates membership is an email account and a password of your choice.

Now that Mr. Rebates has 700 merchants from which to shop, they hope to attract new shoppers who may not have known about the cash-back portal in the past. Mr. Cassata said, "We think we have a good base of retailers where people can find what they’re looking for. We add more stores on a weekly basis and try to keep a good mixture of products available for anyone shopping online – from office managers to stay-at-home moms. We hope we can help them find what they’re looking for, while giving them cash-back in the process."
