Dream a Million Founder Announces New Animated Web Service

Peter Gorgenyi, the creator of the Dream A Million website (http://www.dreamamillion.com/) sent an open letter today to thank Alex Tew (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com) for giving inspiration to launch a new service for hosting animated pixel ads.

(PRWEB) January 19, 2006 -- “Alex is an inspiration to us all...” said Peter Gorgenyi , founder of the http://www.dreamamillion.com website. “Dream a Million is not what you may think. It’s not about making a million dollars. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s about giving helpless children an opportunity to realize their dreams. It’s about people helping people in trouble. It’s about giving one unfortunate, stranded family the chance to return to their home in the United States.” said Peter Gorgenyi, an unemployed software development executive. “Alex, and his story has created a hope in seven children that anything is possible if you just dare to dream. Hence, the namesake for the website http://www.dreamamillion.com.”

Like Mr. Tew’s idea of helping one college student, the Dream a Million website tries to make a difference for one family. The main goal behind the website is to raise money for a family of seven children who were brought to Chile from the United States then lost everything they had. Now they are trying to raise enough funds to pay for their education and return to the US. “We are grabbing at any opportunity to be able to return home… When I saw Alex’ story on CNN, on new year’s eve 2005, I thought immediately that we could make it work: generate traffic to our clients and help the children too. Every penny would go to a good cause…”

The Dream a Million website sells economical advertising space in highly visible 440-pixels boxes. When people come to the Dream A Million web page, they see ads, logos and pictures for people and companies. Even animated pictures! People see a message attached to the picture if they move their mouse over the image. When they click on a picture, they are immediately taken to the company’s website.

“It’s fun, it’s interesting and a valuable promotion tool. dreamamillion.com is not as ambitious Alex’ site, but we are hoping to make enough money to help these seven children." - said Mr. Gorgenyi. You can see their faces and their story in the FAQ portion of the website (http://www.dreamamillion.com/faq.html).
