City of Coldwater, Michigan Turns to mPower Technologies to Implement Their Own Web GIS

Five year GIS plan cut more than 50% when City of Coldwater, Michigan selected mPower Technologies to develop their Web GIS.

mPower Technologies, the developer of mPower Integratorâ„¢ (link:, announces that the city of Coldwater, MI is successfully using mPower Integrator on a daily basis to quickly develop their custom Web GIS applications. It was anticipated to take them the remaining 2.5 years to bring their data to the web using traditional methods, but the time it actually took using mPower Integrator was their biggest surprise.

"We were a bit shocked at how fast we were able to build the applications using the solution from mPower Technologies," stated Matt Winger, the city's engineering technician.

Taking advantage of the pick and click wizards and intuitively designed user interfaces in mPower Integrator, they were able to accomplish this task in a few short weeks. Since then, they have been expanding beyond their original plans and are expecting more departments and users to take advantage of this new GIS Web technology.
