QMIND and Symmetry Services Group Sign Federal Government Resellers Agreement

QMIND, the leader in on-demand e-learning authoring solutions, today announced the strategic alliance with Symmetry Services Group. This partnership creates an opportunity for the federal government to dramatically reduce the cost of developing and outsourcing e-learning content.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) January 18, 2006 -- QMIND, the leader in on-demand e-learning authoring solutions, today announced the strategic alliance with Symmetry Services Group, a woman-owned small business in Vienna, Virginia. Based upon customer statistics, it is estimated that the federal government can save over $4,145 per employee or contractor, per month, by using the QMIND platform on e-learning development projects.

The CEO of QMIND, Michael Berkley, said, “At a time when the federal government is looking for ways to reduce costs and increase individual productivity, all of us at QMIND are excited about having a qualified government reseller in the Washington, D.C. area. By teaming with Symmetry, QMIND will be able to securely deliver products via our ASP model while knowing our federal government customers will receive outstanding local support when needed.”

The QMIND platform is a web-based e-learning authoring system that streamlines the development of online training programs. The platform provides an “anytime, anywhere” shared workspace for all government team members and outside contractors, no matter where they are located. In addition to facilitating collaboration, the QMIND platform automates authoring and multimedia production processes that were once cost-prohibitive.

According to IDC research, government spending on e-learning development tools has been growing about 30% each year since 2002 and is projected to continue at that level through 2008.

Bill Fowkes, the President of Symmetry Services Group said, “QMIND software truly adds value to the missions of both Federal end users and prime contractors. With tight travel budgets and time sensitive program constraints, web-based training programs serve as a cost-effective answer to these problems. QMIND will not only reduce the cost of creating government e-learning programs, it will increase the level of collaboration among government agencies, contractors, and subject matter experts.”

As a secure, ASP-hosted application, QMIND enables distributed government teams, even when spread among multiple agencies and contracting firms, to collaborate on design plans, storyboarding, media file creation and review, multimedia production, and project management. QMIND's servers are hosted in high security, high performance data centers, with a guaranteed 100% up time.
