(PRWEB) January 19, 2006 -- Business blogger William Starrett has sent a letter of apology to Pat Robertson for his beginning remarks made when awarding Robertson with his Marketing Genius Award for January 2006.
In a letter dated Thursday and marked for hand delivery to Pat Robertson, Starrett admitted to Robertson, "My attempt to articulate my sincerest admiration is sometimes overshadowed by my truest nature to be honest. I respect your skills as an entrepreneur and master of persuasion. My hope is that you can find it in your heart to forgive me."
In his blog post to williamstarrett.com, Starrett begins his analysis of why Robertson earned the award with, "It is an undeniable truth that Pat Robertson is a self serving tool that single handedly does more harm for Christianity than any other human at this point in time."
The apology sent Thursday affirmed Starrett's earlier proclamation of Pat Robertson as Marketing Genius for January 2006 and furthered that Robertson is a "respected, revered, and conservative man who many people the entire world over look to for guidance."
Starrett's statement was made before he declared Pat Robertson a public relations and marketing genius for how Robertson, as a television personality, drew unimaginable media attention with his skillful outrageousness and well timed subsequent public apology.
