Collectively, the new Principals, Paul S. Williams and William "Monty" A. Montgomery, possess over 24 years of experience in venture capital.

Paul S. Williams, CFA, Principal, joined First Capital Group in 2002. He has 17 years of experience in the financial services industries. Prior to joining First Capital Group, Williams held senior analyst and director positions with USAA Federal Savings Bank and USAA Investment Management Company; served as a senior auditor with KPMG in the financial services practice group, where he spent two years in Prague performing foreign investment services; obtained a B.S. in Accounting from Liberty University; and became a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Williams serves on the boards of several First Capital Group portfolio companies and non-profit organizations, as well as managing the financial reporting and compliance requirements to limited partners.

William "Monty" Montgomery, Principal, joined First Capital Group in 2003 with over five years of experience in investment banking, economic analysis, and private equity investing. Prior to joining First Capital Group, he was Vice President of RWH Group, Ltd., a private equity group in Dallas, Texas that specializes in turnaround opportunities in manufacturing businesses; there, he acquired businesses that amounted to more than $80 million of annual revenue and served in numerous operational roles throughout those companies. He holds an M.A. degree in International Trade and Investment Policy from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
