Promise Keeper Founder Holds Rally in Fulfillment of Scripture -- Road to Jerusalem Conference January 20th & 21st 2006
Inspirational Conference in Los Angeles to reconcile Messianic Jews & Christians. With Coach Bill McCartney, Jack Hayford, and Jim Tolle.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 19, 2006 -- Coach Bill McCartney, former University of Colorado football coach along with Dr. Jack Hayford, Founding Pastor and Pastor Jim Tolle, Senior Pastor of The Church On The Way, to hold a prayer and worship rally to unite and restore Christians and Messianic Jews.
“This is the first step uniting all of God’s church in fulfillment of prophecy,” said Bill McCartney. “I believe that this will be the beginning of the next great revival. The Road to Jerusalem is God’s highway for healing to unite his people so they can experience God’s Promised Land.”
The event will include concerts by Joel Chernoff, Marty Goetz, Ted Pearce, Jonathan Settel, and Paul Wilbur. Inspirational messages and teaching will be given by Mike Bickler, Founder International House of Prayer; Dr. Jack Hayford, President Four Square Denomination; Rabbi David Chernoff; Rabbi Jonathan Bernis, Jewish Voice Int’l; Dr. Bill Hamel, President of Evangelical Free Church of America; and Rabbi Dan Juster, Tikkun Ministries.

Various Messianic Jewish groups have endorsed The Road to Jerusalem. “This is a very significant thing,” said Russ Resnick, executive director of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. “Perhaps McCartney is the first major Christian figure who is taking a stand with us.”
The event is coordinated in the fulfillment of scripture and the words of Jesus Christ, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17:20-21.
