Dallas (PRWEB) January 19, 2005 00 Over the next three months, Southwest Airlines' (NYSE: LUV) Rapid Rewards Members who book travel on southwest.com or SWAbiz.com between Dallas Love Field and St. Louis or Kansas City will receive triple credit in the carrier's popular frequent flier program.
"To celebrate our new nonstop service between Love Field and our two Missouri destinations, we felt a triple play was in order -- three cities, triple credit, for three months," said Debra Benton, Southwest's Director of Loyalty Marketing. "We know that our Rapid Rewards Members are delighted that Missouri is now excluded from the constraints of the Wright Amendment, and they will enjoy flying nonstop between Dallas and St. Louis or Kansas City. And, our low $79* (see *Fare Rules) one-way fare is the icing on the cake!"

President George W. Bush recently signed a transportation appropriations bill containing language that exempts Missouri from federal restrictions placed on Dallas Love Field airport. This exemption made it possible for Southwest Airlines, the signature carrier at Love Field, to initiate new nonstop jet service in December from Dallas to its Missouri operations in Kansas City and St. Louis with four daily nonstop flights to each city.
Beginning today, Southwest will offer Members of its Rapid Rewards frequent flyer program three credits for each one-way flight booked between Dallas and St. Louis or Kansas City on southwest.com or SWAbiz.com and flown by April 30, 2006. Since it normally only takes 16 credits in 24 months to receive an Award on Southwest Airlines, with this deal you could be flying free in as few as three roundtrips!
In addition, Southwest's Preferred Partner, Alamo Rent A Car, is offering triple credit to sweeten the deal. Members who rent with Alamo will receive triple Rapid Rewards credit (1.5 credits vs. the standard 0.5 credits per rental) for any vehicle rental of two or more days in Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis from now through April 30, 2006. All details on this deal can be found at southwest.com.
For seven straight years in a row, Southwest Airlines was honored with first place for Best Award Redemption at InsideFlyer magazine's 17th annual Freddie. The airline has won this honor each of the seven years that the magazine has awarded it. Along with the Best Award Redemption, Southwest received first place awards for Best Customer Service and Best Bonus Promotion.
Tickets must be purchased seven days before departure. Fares are available one-way and are combinable with all other fares. When combining fares, all ticketing restrictions apply.
