Austin TX (PRWEB) January 21, 2006 -- Zilliant, the leading provider of pricing applications, today announced three strategic, senior-level hires in its Solutions and Marketing organizations. Mary Beth Lyle and David Salomon join Zilliant’s Solutions team as director of solutions sales and director of professional services respectively. Lyle will be responsible for reviewing all prospect and customer opportunities and ensuring implementations are delivered with maximum value to Zilliant customers. Salomon will manage Zilliant’s rapidly growing customer base by overseeing all Solutions team members on the East Coast. Greg Madianos joins Zilliant as director of product marketing. Madianos will be responsible for product and competitive positioning as well as strategic alliances.
Lyle and Salomon, both key contributors to the growth and development of the pricing and revenue management discipline, bring more than twenty-five years of experience to Zilliant. Most recently Lyle served as vice president of professional services at Revenue Technologies. Prior to that, she spent more than ten years as vice president of pricing global consulting services at Manugistics supporting the hospitality, travel, consumer electronics and high tech manufacturing industries. Lyle is credited with overseeing at least 20 pricing projects and developing implementation methodologies that contributed millions of dollars in professional services revenue and profits.
Most recently, Salomon was an independent pricing and revenue management consultant, providing services to several clients, including a Fortune 1000 company. Prior to that Salomon spent eight years at Manugistics where he served as director of product development overseeing pricing and business intelligence products. Salomon was responsible for engineering the re-architecture of Manugistic’s products’ client-server technology to the J2EE platform. Prior to his stint at Manugistics, Salomon was vice president of product development at Talus Solutions.
Madianos joins Zilliant from Oracle Corporation, where he directed all product marketing and development for the company’s eService and knowledge management product lines. Prior to Oracle, he held senior product and business development positions at Siebel Systems across a wide range of customer relationship management applications. Madianos holds an MBA in Analytic Finance and Economics from the University of
Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University.
