Ypsilanti, MI (PRWEB) January 22, 2006 -- International photographer Mary Potts will host an open house on Saturday, January 28, from 3:00-7:00 PM, at her new Ypsilanti, Michigan wedding resource office – celadon – located at 300 N. Huron Street.
Celebrating her 10th anniversary as a wedding photographer, Potts is the owner and sole proprietor of Mary Potts Photography, specializing in wedding photojournalism, a style she says allows her to capture each event’s unique personality. In order to find a space that would enable her to meet increasing business demand, Potts conducted an extensive search, and selected the building in which the office resides for its romantic mid-19th century Victorian design. Situated in historic Depot Town, this stunning edifice served as the original Ypsilanti town hall.
Potts says that at her distinctive wedding connection couples will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while they become acquainted with a selection of vendors on the cutting edge of their field, ranging from videographers and disc jockeys to florists and event planners. “Today’s brides are looking for something else, something unique,” says Potts. “After working with a wide variety of vendors at weddings, I decided the time was right to bring the best of the best to this elegant meeting place in Ypsilanti.”
In addition to operating Mary Potts Photography, Potts holds a Master of Fine Arts from Wayne State University, where she has taught drawing and design. Throughout her career, Potts has exhibited in Europe and North America, and continues to acquire gallery representation across the United States.
