PowerCentering will be featured at major fitness events throughout the year. Beginning with an ad campaign in Looking Good Now magazine, demonstrating the weight loss benefits of following the PowerCentering fitness program, PowerCentering will be seen at major health and fitness events this year.

Dr. Pete Gratale’s PowerCentering begins a very busy year with a full page ad in Looking Good Now magazine, on newsstands beginning January 30th. The ad will feature the weight loss success of Karen, a mother of three, using the PowerCentering fitness program.

Following PowerCentering and eating sensibly, Karen went from a size 14 to a size 8. After giving birth to their third child, Karen wanted to regain her pre-maternity figure and lose the extra weight she had gained through three pregnancies. She tried fad diets and several exercise programs but none worked for her. Many exercise programs were inconvenient or required time that she did not have in her busy schedule of raising three boys. “PowerCentering was perfect for me,” says Karen. “My husband has been involved in PowerCentering for several years but I had never done any of the exercises. Once I watched the DVD and learned some of the exercises, I found I could do PowerCentering when it was convenient for me.”

Created by Dr. Pete Gratale, D.C., the former co-host of ESPN’s BodyShaping and a National Strength and Conditioning Specialist, PowerCentering combines breathing, stretching and strengthening into a program that anyone can do, regardless of current physical conditioning. PowerCentering has been done with people in wheelchairs as well as professional athletes. The Five Instant Steps to PowerCentering has been incorporated into the pre-response routine of many First Responders.

Karen went on to say that she really liked the idea of being able to exercise throughout her busy day. “The ab press is my favorite PowerCentering exercise that gave me the results I was looking for. I can do the ab press while doing laundry, while the baby is napping or while fixing dinner. Anytime I have a few minutes I can do the Five Instant Steps or any of the other exercises. And I also have more energy than I had before I started doing PowerCentering.”

PowerCentering will be featured at two major events in August, sponsored by Better Your Body Health and Fitness Expos, http://www.betteryourbody.com. Frozen Ropes franchisees will see PowerCentering in action and learn more about its application for young athletes at their Big Apple Coaches Clinic January 28th as well as at other events throughout the year.
