The Oracle® Human Capital Management Users Group (OHUG) today announces that Web registration for its spring conference in Las Vegas, Nevada is now available. Taking place from April 19-21, 2006, the OHUG spring conference is the first event specifically designed for PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM customers since the PeopleSoft Connect event in the fall of 2004. Focusing on Oracle E-Business suite (EBS) customers as well as PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM customers, the OHUG event will offer more than 145 sessions that range from strategic to technical in nature.
“PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM customers have been looking for the opportunity to network among other clients as well as meet directly with Oracle product strategy and development,” said Jason Averbook, Chair of the PeopleSoft track for the OHUG spring conference and CEO of Knowledge Infusion, a strategic HCM consultancy. “The goal of this event is to provide PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM customers with a place to learn, collaborate and plan for the future.”
The PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM track presentations will cover topics such as core HRMS, Payroll, Benefits Administration, ePerformance, Enterprise Learning Management, Recruiting solutions and more. PeopleSoft customers will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions focused on upgrading from previous versions of PeopleSoft HRMS to the latest version, PeopleSoft HCM 8.9. These presentations will be delivered by PeopleSoft customers including Ameriprise, Ameren Corporation, and Applebee’s as well as leading consulting firms and representatives from Oracle product strategy.
The spring OHUG registration is now available at http://www.ohug.org -- conference registration fee is $399 per person and space is limited. The Aladdin Resort & Casino will be the host hotel for the conference. The OHUG, formerly known as the Global HRIS SIG, was formed at the October 1996 OAUG meeting and then held its first meeting in January of 1997. The OHUG has two meetings per year and are sponsored by a collection of OHUG members and vendors.
