Search Expert Helps Feds In COPA Case

Search expert William Starrett has publicly announced a solution directed at the United States Department of Justice and their recent court action to confiscate usage information from leaders in search.

PRWEB) January 24, 2006 -- Search expert William Starrett has announced a solution directed at the United States Department of Justice and their recent court action to confiscate usage information from leaders in search.

In an article posted Monday to the http://www.williamstarrett.com blog, Starrett details his method to find what people search for online and by what measure.

"Today I outline a solution for the United States Department of Justice, The State of California, and leaders in search with the goal of diffusing the current action against free enterprise," Starrett explains.

Starrett continues, "A twelve year old who doesn't know a thing about the geeky behind-the-scenes with search can easily find what the government desires so dearly. Hopefully this will take us further down the road without us needing to cross a bridge that would impact humanity in a very negative way."

Last week the United States government brought suit against the world's most popular search engine for their refusal to comply with an August 2005 subpoena that demanded search terms and search results from their database.

Starrett admitted, "Fighting this is the right step but hopefully I am helping all parties to completely eliminate the debate."

The solution proposed can be found at http://www.williamstarrett.com in its entirety.
