One event that is fast becoming a tradition at Telluride Gay Ski Week is the Academy Awards® OSCAR NIGHT® Party.

“With Brokeback Mountain’s recent GOLDEN GLOBE® for Best Motion Picture, we have no doubt that this year’s OSCAR NIGHT party is going to be quite the celebration for our gay ski week attendees,” stated Tracee Hennigar, special events director for the Town of Mountain Village. “I can’t imagine a better place to be to watch Brokeback Mountain being honored then in one of the most beautiful and romantic mountain locations in the country.”

As this year’s gay ski week finale, the event has been dubbed the Brokeback Mountain OSCAR NIGHT Party. To commemorate the evening, organizers have arranged for a special six-course dinner for partygoers; as well as, special giveaways from Focus Features, the producers of Brokeback Mountain.
