KBC Process Technology Ltd. (KBC), a leading independent global consulting organization for the oil refining, petrochemical and process industries, announces the acquisition of TTS Performance Systems, Inc. (TTS) and its sister company, Center for Process Plant Management, LLC (CPPM), which are recognized as international leaders in process industry management consulting, training, and personnel development.

Based in Denver, Colorado, both TTS and CPPM are privately held companies. CPPM and TTS assist corporate executives and plant managers in improving and sustaining Operational Excellence (OpX) through strategic leadership, organizational change management initiatives, and human performance improvement (HPI) solutions. The TTS HPI consulting solution is focused on performance management, competency assessment, and full-scale training system design and implementation as part of comprehensive Operational Excellence improvement initiatives at client sites.

This acquisition noticeably expands KBC’s breadth of services. Now, KBC can offer clients the convenience of using a single service provider by including human performance improvement programs to aid in effective implementation of KBC’s profit improvement recommendations. KBC’s technical expertise also expands TTS’s ability to offer additional technical training courses.

KBC’s Chief Operating Officer, George Bright commented, “This acquisition will expand KBC’s toolkit substantially. Human performance can be a limiting factor in process plant optimization; our combined offering will generate a service to meet the needs we see in today’s process industries. We are already engaged in 3 refinery joint projects; the combination works well.” And, Jack A. Pankoff, TTS Chief Executive Officer, stated, “The acquisition of TTS and CPPM by KBC will provide the process industry with a total approach to plant performance improvement that integrates people, information and technology.”
