Controversial Author Claudette Milner Seeks Agent and or Publisher for the Release of the Sequel of her First Book "Children of Plains Estates."
Claudette Milner has once again written an extraordinarily unique novel that is inclusive in its diversity and sobering in its reality.
(PRWEB) January 28, 2006 -- Controversial author Claudette Milner seeks agent and or publisher for the release of the sequel of her first book "Children of Plains Estates."
Betsy's Literary Page wrote: "Claudette Milner's novel, Children of Plains Estates is the perfect definition for the melting pot called 'America.'"
"The author brilliantly uses simplistic views and emotions of children to expose 'our' prejudices, bigotries, and unfounded apprehensions based on lack of knowledge and understanding of cultural, racial, physical, and psychological differences.
I applaud you Ms. Milner, this novel; "Children of Plains Estates" could easily be viewed as the poster child for diversity training. It causes one to reflect on what individual adjustments can be made to ensure peaceful harmony in the face of diversity."
Milner made this statement regarding the sequel.
The sequel has taken me over a year to write. There is no book currently published that deals with the issues of racism, the hypocrisy of the church, abortion, pedophilia, and that confronts the consequences of a divided America.
The reality is that America is a melting pot. It includes a diversity of religions, and ethnic groups. You can not examine prejudice and stereotypes without characters of all ethic groups. If we fail to examine all sides of the issue we can never find a solution.
The sequel "Children of Plains Estates: The Middle School Years" will bring to the table Americans of Jewish, Cuban, Mexican, African American, and European Descent and of the Catholic, Protestant, Interdenominational, and Jehovah Witness religion.
Milner will join fellow authors in an Author-Thon
March 17-18 2007 at the Gulfview Square Mall in Port Richey Florida. This will be sponsored by the Mall and Waldenbooks. Twenty authors will arrive at the mall, and they will support a charity of their choice.
