Lloyd “Butch” LeRoy has been promoted to junior partner at the law firm of Brayton Purcell, where he was an associate attorney and manager for over six years. “I am gratified to know that my efforts have been recognized,” Mr. LeRoy commented. “I also appreciate the challenge of contributing to the growth of the firm at a time when the civil justice system and individual rights are threatened.”
Mr. LeRoy supervises a busy appellate department, chooses issues for appeal, writes and edits briefs, and appears and argues in the appellate courts on behalf of clients. He is licensed to practice law in California and is an Appellate Specialist certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the federal District Courts for the Northern District of California and the Central District of California.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Vanderbilt University School of Law, Mr. LeRoy was a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force before retiring with the grade of Colonel. He managed the Medical Processing and Appellate Departments at Brayton Purcell before being promoted to his present position.
