Direct Response Marketing Agency Partners with E-Marketing Expert

One of the oldest, most respected agencies in not-for-profit direct marketing expands its emarketing services with the help of a new associate. Memership drives, fundraising efforts, and advocacy action campaigns are increasingly putting email and Web-based communications to work with great results.

White Plains, NY (PRWEB) January 29, 2006 -- Veteran direct-marketing agency Carl Bloom Associates (CBA) has contracted with online emarketing and fundraising expert Luke Vander Linden to become a CBA Associate. Effective immediately, Vander Linden will work alongside CBA and its clients in public broadcasting, with museums, libraries, membership organizations, and other not-for-profits, to deploy fundraising and direct marketing strategies using email marketing and related website communications. Luke will work through CBA’s subsidiary, Loyalty eMarketing Group, Inc. to integrate email and online marketing with other media; the expanded CBA team will provide fully coordinated multi-media campaigns to marketers who want to maximize their return on investment.

Vander Linden is best known for his nearly 11 years of experience at public broadcaster Thirteen/WNET New York. While there, he specialized in many aspects of marketing and development, and established a profitable email program in conjunction with direct mail, telemarketing and on-air fundraising. He conceived and managed Thirteen’s multiple-award-winning online fundraising and promotions program. Following Thirteen, Vander Linden served as Senior Account Manager at GetActive Software, a leading provider of customer relationship management solutions for the not-for-profit and advocacy community.

Luke also directs Integrated Marketing Services for CWB Marketing Group of New York.

“Even after a decade of online fundraising, many traditional direct marketing agencies still view email and the web as a strategic afterthought. We're working closely with Luke in developing e-marketing solutions for our clients,” says Carl Bloom, president of Carl Bloom Associates. “He brings both strategic and implementation prowess to our fast-growing integrated marketing services. Together, we are helping not-for-profit organizations master the new realities of membership development and effective fundraising, as well as helping commercial businesses utilize new media opportunities in sales and marketing.

Luke wanted the right environment and mind-set where he could practice his expertise in this exciting new field: "I wanted to form an exclusive relationship with an agency that understands and practices integrated marketing and knows how to get the most out of every medium individually, and how best to make media work together for maximum performance, says Vander Linden. Carl Bloom Associates is one of the first agencies to offer truly integrated campaigns to their clients, and fits the bill".

It's no longer necessary for organizations to hire web-only agencies or do it all in-house and retain a separate direct response agency for everything else. From strategy to creative to execution, email and the internet are covered in every campaign CBA and Luke put together.

CBA, Inc. of White Plains, NY is a direct marketing agency specializing in helping nonprofit and for-profit organizations acquire and retain members, donors, and loyal customers. Founded in 1976 in New York City by Carl Bloom, CBA is the creator and manager of a public TV consortium with more than 30 public broadcasting clients nationwide, and of the National Direct Mail Consortium for Public Libraries. Other current and past clients include Consumers Union, the National Association of Railroad Passengers, Friends of Animals, The Actors’ Fund of America, AARP, the Bay-Area Make-A-Wish Foundation, numerous catalogs and publications, and a host of libraries, including the San Diego Public Library, Queens Public Library, Broward County Public Library, and Alameda County Public Library.
