"Recently, I wasn’t even sure what a blog was," said Hasselbeck. "But now I’m excited to share this event and communicate with my fans and all of the people who support me around the world. This is really a great way to thank everyone that has backed me during my career.”
Additionally, the new website features a photo gallery of in-action shots from the season, a guestbook where fans can send a message to Hasselbeck, and links to news articles about the Quarterback from websites across the Internet. Plans are also in place to expand the exclusive content available during Matt’s trip to the Pro-Bowl in February 2006.

Originally scheduled to launch in Spring 2006, the Seahawks run of recent success in the playoffs inspired all parties involved to expedite the project so fans would have Hasselbeck’s first-person perspective of the highest profile event in all of sports.
