PUMGO is the first human-powered push-free cruise board in the world. Like skateboards, PUMGOs have a deck and four wheels, but that’s where the similarities end. These boards are “push-free,” which allows the rider to drive the board forward simply by pumping the deck. Now you can experience the cool feeling of surfing on land without the need to constantly push off the ground. It’s suitable for both adults and kids ages 7 up. Please come to 2006 New York International Toy Fair on February 12 to 15 and check out Pumgo at booth # 5038. Watch Pumgo video at http://www.pumgo.com.
Since its inception, Pumgo has been sold by specialty toy and sporting good stores in the United States and Japan. In the near future, Pumgo will be making its way to the Europe after having passed the required safety and quality tests in United Kingdom.
How does Pumgo work? Its patented 4-Wheel-Drive and all-wheel steering system allow the rider to cruise along with a simple pumping motion, similar to a see-saw. Pumgo is great for hard, flat surfaces and can reach speeds of up to 10 mph. Kids 7 and up and even parents can enjoy Pumgo.
Pumgo is not only a great way to have fun; it’s also an excellent way to get a good work out. The Pumping motion is similar to walking up stairs. Riding Pumgo is a great cardiovascular and leg-muscle workout.
According to the fitness specialists, the PUMGO is all about the core. Just balancing alone on the PUMGO works your core strength, in addition to the pumping back and forth, because you have to distribute weight from one foot to the other while staying centered with your upper body which means your abs have to fire every time to stabilize your torso.
Not surprisingly, the legs benefit the most from the PUMGO workout. It will work your gluts because your knees have to bend to balance yourself, the 4 quadriceps muscles, your hamstrings because you have to lean forward, and even a little bit of calf work as you shift your body weight between your heels and toes in order turn.
Land Surf Inc. also developed PUMGO practice station, similar to a stationary bicycle, holding PUMGO off the floor for you to use as an inside exercise device. PUMGO combined with this practice station can function similarly as treadmill and stepper. The difference is kids have more fun on PUMGO station than other exercise equipments.
Pumgo has caught the eye of several media sources including CBS News, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Time Magazine for Kids, Washington Post, Washington Times, Boy’s Life magazine, and Sports Illustrated for Kids. Also Pumgo has been one of the hottest selling items in many toy stores and sporting goods stores across the United States since November 2005.
New York International Toy Fair is the largest toy trade show in North America. Pumgo will be exhibited at booth # 5038 from February 12 to 15. Please make your order at the Toy Fair for special Introductory price.
