Kevin Chmura, author and President, FlexCo. Fitness in Glen Ellyn, will present a seminar based on his new book, Skyrocket Your Metabolism: your plan for permanent weight loss. The public is invited to attend; seating is limited. The event takes place on February 7, 2006 at 7:30p.m. at the Double Tree Suites in Downers Grove. Cost is $15 per person and includes a signed copy of the book, seminar admission and a complimentary one week FlexCo. Fitness personal training (valid for new clients).

Mr. Chmura will also educate seminar participants about what he believes is the proper philosophy behind permanent weight loss, “Becoming fat and out of shape is the same process as becoming fit, you just complete opposite actions. I want you to focus on creating a lifestyle. After you have created and lived that lifestyle, being fit will just happen. I want to teach you how to create a fit lifestyle that is not only effective but will last for your entire life.”

What makes Mr. Chmura a fitness expert? At the age of 19, Mr. Chmura started a home personal training business, FlexCo. Fitness, with a simple concept: to bring training equipment into people's homes and lead them through a quality workout. The business was initially successful, however, due to cost, supply, and time restraints, the business grew into a different model where groups of people could train together and share the cost of an hour of training. Individuals could still get a personalized program and personal attention, but at a more affordable price. This model grew into FlexCo. Fitness Training Center, which opened in 2003.

FlexCo. Fitness Training Center’s professional staff strives to keep their clients healthy, in shape and seeks to improve the overall quality of their members’ lives. Mr. Chmura developed the FlexCo.
