Earnshaw's Magazine Honors The Best In Children's Wear For 2005

Earnshaw's announces the 2005 winners of its prestigious Earnie awards.

New York (PRWEB) February 1, 2006

Earnshaw’s, the leading children’s wear trade magazine, announced the winners of the title’s coveted Earnie awards today. The award honors retailers’ choices for the best in children’s apparel design for 2005. In the February issue, Earnshaw’s profiles each winner to highlight their award-winning collections, their best business decisions and their view on today’s children.

“As usual, this year’s group of Earnie winners reflects the cross-section of design, marketing and business talent that keeps the industry growing,” stated Ross Garnick, publisher of Earnshaw’s magazine. “We look forward to seeing who retailers select as the top manufacturers for 2006.”

“Earnshaw’s hosts these awards each year to celebrate our industry, good design and the continuing innovation in children’s wear,” said Caletha Crawford, Earnshaw’s editor in chief. “Our hope is that through the profiles in the February issue, others in the industry will be inspired to take that next step in advancing their own businesses.”

The Earnies has earned its prestigious status in the industry over the last 27 years. This year, the awards focus on 21 categories within the children’s apparel industry, including the infant and toddler market, girls’ wear, boys’ wear, sleepwear, swimwear and accessories. Nominees are selected by a committee consisting of children’s wear experts; the winners are then selected by retailers from Earnshaw’s circulation.
