Second Annual Survey Provides Continued Education to the IHRIM Community

The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) and Knowledge Infusion, the authority on human capital management (HCM) technologies, today announces the two organizations are partnering to issue their 2006 Talent Management Survey. The second annual survey conducted by IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion will focus on the continued demand for talent management applications and how organizations are using these solutions in the marketplace today. In addition, it will reveal top priorities around talent management systems and initiatives and the value they can drive within organizations today.

The 2006 Talent Management Survey will be delivered this February to IHRIM members through the association’s Web site -- http://www.ihrim.org. The results will be announced in conjunction with the HRMStrategies 2006 Conference and Technology Expo in April and will also be available on the IHRIM Web site, through seminars, chapter presentations, and in various IHRIM publications.

“IHRIM continues to be committed to delivering value, education and collaboration to its membership base around HCM and talent management technologies and how they are being leveraged today and into the future,” said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM President and CEO. “By teaming with Knowledge Infusion to deliver the second annual survey, we are providing IHRIM members with insight into talent management best practices of other leading organizations – helping to drive them to take action inside their own organization.”

The primary goals of the Talent Management Survey are to:

  • Understand how organizations view talent management solutions today
  • Educate organizations on how their competition is driving true business results with talent management solutions
  • Assess the growth of the talent management space year over year
  • Provide prospective buyers of talent management systems with information needed to help make educated business cases to executives within their organizations

“Talent management solutions, including performance and learning management, succession and career planning, competency management, compensation and talent acquisition, continue to be one of the hottest application suites in the HCM space today,” said Jason Averbook, CEO of Knowledge Infusion. “It is clear that organizations are stepping up and working to gain insight into their ‘people’ assets and driving those assets to new levels of productivity. The 2006 IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion Talent Management Survey will help us gain visibility into how prevalent this trend is and how the market has grown since last year.”

The International Association for Human Resource Information Management is celebrating 25 years of service to the HR and IT professional community at its HRMStrategies 2006 Conference & Expo taking place from April 9-12, 2006 in Washington, DC.
