Hydro Physics has been awarded a contract to use its miniature video technology to inspect all sanitary sewer lines serving the hurricane Katrina damaged New Orleans' Super Dome.

Hydro Physics Pipe Inspection Corp., an Englewood, Colorado based company, announced that its Lafayette, Louisiana office has been awarded a contract to video inspect all sanitary sewer lines serving the New Orleans' Super Dome. Hydro Physics will use its miniature video technology to visually inspect, from within, all sanitary sewer lines while simultaneously recording their condition on VHS tape for later review. The Super Dome's sanitary sewer system serves all its athletic facilities and numerous sky boxes, restaurants, dining rooms, kitchens, fast food concessions and restrooms. Hydro Physics will also video inspect the sanitary sewer lines connecting the Super Dome to the city's sewer system.

T.J. Suiter, Hydro Physics Pipe Inspection Corp's President and CEO said, "we are extremely excited over the fact that the major engineering/construction companies involved in the rebuilding of New Orleans have recognized the utility and value of our technology to assess the condition of the sanitary sewer lines serving these major structures. Our technology allows us to visually determine and simultaneously record exactly what the problems are and then locate exactly where repairs need to be made. This visual diagnostic technology totally eliminates the inefficient dig and hope you find the problem approach. No one can afford to do that any longer."

Although its actual condition is unknown, several disaster experts fear that parts of the system could have been damaged as a result of the general flooding of the city's sewer system. The Super Dome suffered severe damage from hurricane Katrina and additional damage as a result of its use as a post hurricane shelter.

In related news, Hydro Physics Pipe Inspection Corp. announced that its Lafayette, Louisiana office also received contracts to use its miniature video technology to inspect the sanitary sewer systems serving the Cajan Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and St. Helena Hospital in Greensburg, Mississippi. Both facilities suffered significant damage from Hurricane Katrina.

Hydro Physics Pipe Inspection Corp. is an Englewood, Colorado based company with 9 franchise offices in middle third of the United States. The company plans to add 10 new franchise offices in 2006.
