Burkard's book stretches the Regency genre, bringing it into the arena of Christian fiction. Linore Rose Burkard lives with her husband, five children, and ninety-one-year-old grandmother in Waynesville, Ohio. Raised in New York, she graduated magna cum laude from the City University of New York (Queens College) with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature.
