Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 2, 2006
The finalization of a merger between Performance SEO, a leader in performance-based Search Engine Optimization, and Nobis Interactive, a full-service online marketing firm was announced today.
Performance SEO’s core-competency, search engine optimization, is a service in which a website is “optimized” to appear in the top rankings of the organic (vs. non-paid) listings on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN, while Nobis Interactive offers a more full-service approach to online marketing with website design/development, newsletter marketing, website conversion analytics/consulting, advertising design, and pay-per-click management.
The two companies had been engaged in an informal, referral-based partnership since 2005, but M&A talks quickly ensued.
“A merger with Nobis Interactive was an easy decision for us and our clients, said Terrence Gordon, Performance SEO’s CEO. It is a natural progression for organizations with a need for SEO to also want to increase sales and lead conversions to the site by improving the site’s structure and aesthetics. They then need to be able to track their progress via website analytics, or add a newsletter program to improve customer retention, or have their overwhelming Pay-Per-Click programs managed effectively. Nobis Interactive proved to be an easy first choice for us as a partner. They have unmatched experience in online marketing and creating state-of-the-art web presences for their clients. This merger allows us to spread ourselves much thicker and be better prepared for the increase in online marketing for 2006 and beyond.”
According to Forrester Research, online advertising increased 23% from 2004 to 2005 and is predicted to reach $26 Billion (8 percent of total ad spending) by 2010, while search engine marketing is predicted to reach $11.6 billion.
Carl Martin, CEO of Nobis Interactive, shared his excitement. “Online marketing, specifically Search Engine Marketing (SEM), has become a priority for clients who depend on the internet to drive revenue for their organization,” said Martin. “We have seen clients achieve a better ROI from a properly implemented Search Engine Marketing campaign than any other marketing effort online or off. Performance SEO filled a large demand from our clients for Organic Search Engine Optimization while allowing us to continue to focus on our core-competencies, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future.”
Although the two companies will merge services and employees, the individual brands will continue. “Our primary goal for this merger is to make it easier for our clients to understand and implement a successful online marketing effort,” claims Martin. “Performance SEO is obviously a leader in the field of website optimization, while Nobis has made a great name for itself as a full-service online marketing firm. We want both companies to continue to build brands in their respective categories, while our clients enjoy the combination of services, processes, reporting and customer service.
