Alan M. Zuckerman, FACHE, FAAHC, will be signing copies of his best-selling book "Healthcare Strategic Planning" on March 28 at the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) 2006 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, being held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Alan M. Zuckerman, FACHE, FAAHC, will be signing copies of the second edition of his best-selling book Healthcare Strategic Planning on March 28 from 4 to 4:30 p.m. at the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) 2006 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, being held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The ACHE is an international professional society of nearly 30,000 health care executives that is known for its prestigious credentialing and educational programs

The first edition of Healthcare Strategic Planning was the winner of the American College of Healthcare Executives 1999 James A. Hamilton book-of-the-year award and is one of the all-time best-selling management books for Health Administration Press, the publishing division of the ACHE. The Hamilton award is presented annually to the author of a management or health care book judged outstanding by the ACHE's Book-of-the-Year Award Committee.

Zuckerman, who is president of Health Strategies & Solutions, Inc., a leading health care management consulting firm, will also be conducting a seminar, Successful Competitive Strategies to Increase Markets and Share, at the ACHE Congress at 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on March 28.

Alan is the nation’s leading expert on health care strategic planning. He has served as strategic advisor to many long-term clients, and has directed strategic planning, networking and integration, clinical program planning, ambulatory care planning, managed care positioning, and medical staff development engagements for hundreds of academic medical centers, community and specialty hospitals, and other providers.
