Alternative Masonry Solutions Launches CladCrete Panels

Alternative Masonry Solutions, a new construction and building products company established in Phoenix, AZ, recently launched its first product line, a new cladding product called CladCrete. The product dramatically improves the look of a building or home by capturing the finishes of adobe, brick, stucco, stone, or split-face block.    

CladCrete was officially introduced to the market at the World of Concrete show held January 16-17, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. CladCrete panels are unique in that they are made of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) that replicates actual masonry. They are lightweight and easily installed to the framing or substrate of any building. Unlike masonry that is installed unit by unit, CladCrete panels are installed in sheets of 16 square feet or greater, similar to plywood or drywall.

“We are very excited about our new product offering,” said Mike Mehlhoff, General Manager. “Our patented, innovative process enables us to offer several standard patterns but more importantly, we have the ability to customize patterns to meet any customer’s unique needs.”

The company aims to launch its web site this Spring.
