Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) February 2, 2006
The Money Camp is offering it’s first advanced financial education camp for kids on the basics of real estate. This time-honored investment strategy is one of the Three Pillars of Wealth that kids (and adults) learn about in Money Camp that leads to financial freedom in life.
Real Estate for Kids is being held Feb. 11, 2006 in Santa Barbara, CA from 10 am to 5 pm. Kids will leave this fun, all-day program knowing the basics: what it means to invest in real estate, why wealthy people love real estate, basic introduction into how to find great investment properties and an introduction to real estate financing.
Kids, ages 10 to 17, are invited and parents are encouraged to join in the fun. Cost is just $79 per family and attendance to a previous Money Camp event is not necessary.
The program is being presented by Ken Edmonds. Mr. Edmonds is a real estate investor and teacher who has instructed high school and college-aged children in business, entrepreneurship, real estate and personal finance since 1975. He works with the Academy of Business Leadership, a nonprofit organization that sponsors Summer Business Institutes for Youth in the Los Angeles area.
“We’re so excited about offering our first advanced investment camp for kids. We teach kids the whys of investing in our popular Money Camp for Kids program. Now we get to teach them the ‘hows’.
