Voxeo Announces Financial Results with a Revenue Increase of 126 Percent

Record quarter caps 24 straight months of profitability.

Voxeo Corporation, the leading provider of standards-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platforms and hosting, announced today at SpeechTEK West 2006 a record year for the firm, including a revenue increase of 126 percent quarter-on-quarter and profits up 351 percent over the same period in 2004. The strong fourth quarter results highlighted the strong and growing momentum behind Voxeo in 2005, a year in which revenues increased 77 percent and premise equipment sales increased four fold.

“This was a break-through year for Voxeo,” said Stephen Neish, Voxeo’s CFO. “We have again demonstrated strong growth in revenues and profits – a clear differentiator in an industry of loss-ridden companies and state-subsidized non-US competition. The large number of Fortune 100 firms now using the Voxeo platform and the references provided by these large customers has generated its own momentum. There is only one IVR provider that offers a 100 percent open-standards platform, a 100 percent uptime guarantee and the same software for both premise and hosted environments. That has not gone unnoticed, and our customer base and revenues have grown commensurately.”

Voxeo added over 140 customers to its premise install base during the year, and grew its hosted customer base, its traditional strength, by 59 percent. Voxeo now has thousands of hosted customers running 33,000 applications as well as a customer list that includes almost half of the Fortune 100, several governmental offices in the United States and Canada and some of the largest companies in Europe.
