Are African Americans disrespectful of Black History Month? Throughout Black History Month, while paying homage to Black History, every single day there will be those African Americans calling one another "niggas."

The book is entitled "Bury That Sucka" and it’s a hard hitting indictment of what the author, H. Lewis Smith, labels a “bizarre love affair the black community has with the N- word.” There is little that is tactful or politically correct in this book. Indeed, it is perhaps the lack of diplomacy that gives the book its hard-hitting edge.

According to the author, “The N-word is a mask which hides the rich and rewarding history of African Americans and the continued use of the word helps to bury that rich history.” Smith goes on to say, “Black History Month is a perfect illustration of why 'Bury That Sucka' had to be written.”

Throughout Black History Month, while paying homage to Black History, every single day there will be those African Americans calling one another “niggas”. And this undignified act and lack of respect is supposed to be acceptable and condoned midst the black community.

"Bury That Sucka" reveals why African Americans displays this disrespectful and lackadaisical demeanor towards themselves and those heroes and heroines supposedly to be enshrined during Black History Month and why this trend of nonchalance needs to be reversed.

The N-word is a Trojan horse that African Americans have welcomed into their community not realizing or understanding the peril in their actions and it is revealed as to why the users of this word really needs to bury that sucka…not only for the good of their community but the entire country.
