Starring Robosapien V2
WowWee's Robosapien V2 featured in Bernie Mac's show on FOX
(PRWEB) February 3, 2006 -- “The Bernie Mac” show will air an episode featuring the one of the years’ hottest toys, WowWee’s Robosapien V2. The Robosapien V2 was introduced after its predecessor, Robosapian, sold over 2 million units in less than 2 years. The 14-inch Robosapien won the public over with its kicking, crazy dancing, belching, kung fu and 67 pre-programmed functions. The next generation is 10 inches taller, has precise gripping, 100 pre-programmed functions, 6 programming modes, is totally interactive, has vision, sound and touch sensors, is extremely flexible and has direct remote control or autonomous modes. Of course, there is one more notable function… but we don’t want to spoil the show for you.
The show, which is in its fifth season, revolves around Bernie and his wife, Wanda. They are a young, successful couple who are pushed to fill the parental roles for his sister’s three young children after she commits herself to rehab.
The Bernie Mac show airs on FOX and reaches millions of viewers. The series has won the Peabody and Humanities Awards, an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series and was honored by the Television Critics Association for Outstanding Achievement in a Comedy and for Individual Achievement in a Comedy.
WowWee’s Robosapien has been placed in many notable television shows, including “Mad TV”, “Entourage”, “The Tony Danza Show” and “Joey”.
Elizabeth James, VP Operations at Feature This!, WowWee’s product placement agency, had this to say about the upcoming event, “We are excited about the episode. Production is extremely receptive to the Robosapien. We find more and more demand for it all the time. We are pleased with the influx of buzz around the Robosapien and it’s media exposure. “The Bernie Mac Show” will be another exceptional outlet to entertain and educate audiences about the Robosapien V2. You can be sure that Feature This! and WowWee will be partnering in future years to bring viewing audiences all the latest on the advancing technologies.”
The WowWee team is hard at work in the labs developing the robo-prototypes for 2007-2008. We are excited to see what emerges next.
