iBwave Expands its Global Reach with a Presence at Expo Comm Mexico 2006

RF-vu in-building wireless software facilitates faster network infrastructure designs.

Mexico City, Mexico (PRWEB) February 4, 2006 -- iBwave, a worldwide provider of in-building wireless design software, is pleased to announce its participation at Expo Comm Mexico 2006. Expo Comm is one of the largest and longest running Telecommunications and IT events in Latin America. Running from February 14th - 17th, the show serves as an ideal launching point for iBwave to enter the Latin America in-building market. iBwave’s investment into new markets after its success in the US, Europe, Asia and Canada, illustrates the demand for integrated in-building wireless design tools.

iBwave will be demonstrating its flagship software product called RF-vu. RF-vu is used by wireless RF engineers and technicians to create complex in-building designs for multi-operator, multi- frequency and multi-technology projects. Users can perform advanced RF calculations and create real-time linked schematic diagrams and floor plans, project documentation and numerous automated reports from one software package. Standardized designs can be shared amongst members of the in-building community including installers, building owners and engineers.

Across the globe, wireless operators, integrators and equipment manufacturers in the in-building industry have pushed the adoption of RF-vu as an industry standard for network designs due to its feature-rich capabilities and rapid return on investment. RF-vu has proven to improve design efficiency by 46% throughout wireless in-building projects.

Mario Bouchard, President of iBwave, comments, “In-building wireless coverage has become a requirement for many public and private building owners and facilities. With wireless infrastructures maturing in Latin America to support the next generation of wireless services, accurate designs that stay within budget are critical to the speed in which they are rolled out.”

iBwave will have RF-vu workstations set up for Expo Comm attendees to gain hands-on experience with the software. To learn about different applications for RF-vu, view sample documents and see the latest 2G/3G, WCDMA, Wi-Fi capabilities, stop by iBwave’s booth #2134 in the main hall.
