Julie Queler, the founder of the only female-sensitive drug treatment program in the U.S. - The Orchid Recovery Center for Women (http://www.orchidrecoverycenterforwomen.com), will be appearing at The Moment of Change Intervention Conference at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel on February 20-22. She will be giving one-on-one interviews to the press regarding the original treatment modalities she developed in conjunction with Dr. Karen Dodge (a scion of the Dodge auto family) - that are highly successful and intensely healing for addicted women.

As a power player in New York City's flashy publishing industry, Julie Queler started abusing substances to stay on top of her game through her 18+ hour workdays. It was only a matter of time before her house of cards toppled - when it did Julie literally searched every corner of the globe for a way to kick her addiction. The result for her is a clean life - and the development of original treatment modalities that focus on the uniquely special needs of women.

With the epidemic surge in Meth use - as well as other drugs in women - The Orchid's original treatment modality is finding strong emotional inter-reliance - even co-dependency - among women has a high success rate in the treating addiction. The programs at The Orchid focus on the fact that women demonstrate unique psychosocial characteristics associated from substance abuse - extremely different then men. Addicted women have higher rates of mental health problems - including suicide - and social stigmas often keep women from receiving treatment. Just a few of The Orchid's highly successful programs include: intense color therapy in environment, cultivation of co-dependency, water wellness, awakening inner feminine wisdom to beat addiction, spirituality, breath work, exercise, and whole foods/nutrition therapy.

Julie established The Orchid Recovery Center for Women (http://www.orchidrecoverycenterforwomen.com), a unique center in Palm Beach, Florida exclusively for women. The Orchid is the first rehab center of it's kind - with other locations planned in the U.S.

Julie will be in Los Angeles on February 20-23 for The Moment of Change Intervention Conference: Cultural Considerations in the Intervention Process at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel. Members of the press may schedule a personal interview to discuss her groundbreaking and highly successful approach to treating addiction by contacting Ria Romano at 786-290-6413.
