The seasoned technology executives bring value operating experience and success to their new roles to Demandware as the company enters its next phase of growth, with 12 employees hired in the last 30 days and plans for an additional 6 hires in the next quarter. Barnett, with 20 years of industry experience, joins Demandware as senior vice president of field operations. Philip Jefferson will serve as Demandware’s vice president of services, bringing more than 18 years of sales and management experience.

Jeff Barnett to Lead Demandware’s Field Operations Organization
As senior vice president of field operations, Barnett will direct all efforts pertaining to sales and services including consulting, partner enablement, training, and technical support. Barnett brings a wealth of sales and services experience to the Demandware team. Prior to joining Demandware, Barnett successfully built and ran multiple consulting and sales organizations at Siebel Systems, Edocs, ArborText, and Kenan Systems. He brings to Demandware extensive background in the enterprise software industry, including strong operating experience in general management, sales and marketing, professional services, and product management.
Philip Jefferson to Oversee Services
Reporting directly to Barnett in his new role as vice president of services, Jefferson will be responsible for the company’s professional services relationships, as well as staff and business development. Additionally, he will be charged with maintaining advisory relationships with clients. Previously, Jefferson was the Global Solution Leader for the CRM Optimization Group, within the advisory services division of MasterCard. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director in charge of service offering development and delivery for Watch Hill Partners, Inc. – acquired by MasterCard in May 2004. Over the course of his career, he has held management positions within several consulting firms, including Price Waterhouse, Groupe Bull [Integris], and Covansys.
