Technalign, Inc. and Ruffdogs, Inc have announced they will release the Restore application with TaFusion MEPIS Linux. Combining an affordable backup and data recovery utility providing customers a simple method to backup data at a reasonable cost.

Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. stated “This offering will increase our ability to rapidly expand our services while providing customers a much needed commercial grade backup utility in answer to our Partner network requests. The software will be preinstalled and offer users a 30 day trial before deciding to purchase.”

The ability to offer a full backup and data recovery solution to all customers from the community to business has been a goal of Technalign since it's inception. Every customer will have the ability to purchase the software for under $25.00 thus making the offering very attractive and affordable. The inclusion of Restore brings customers an all-in-one solution to meet their desktop needs in the product bundle.

Garret Acott, CEO of Ruffdogs, Inc. states, "We are very happy to become part of the Technalign software stack and offerings. The opportunity allows us to bring industry support to our product line via Technalign's existing and expanding Partner base.”

Customers who currently have Version XI 3.4-1 will have the ability to install the application via the Package Manager or a download. Technalign and MEPIS also plan on making Restore available via a download on all TaFusion and MEPIS websites.

Warren Woodford, CEO of MEPIS, LLC stated “The offering adds to the value of TaFusion MEPIS Linux, providing a commercial grade data recovery utility at a cost that is affordable by all users”. Woodford adds “The community version will remain free of commercial software and Restore will not be included.”.

“The next generation of Restore is already in development with the Technalign FusionPane project allowing individuals the ability to use the application under the Fusion Push technology. SOHO, SMB and Enterprise customers will have the ability to not only manage their Linux licenses, but also perform mission critical backups for the server and desktop via the FusionPane server.” states Ursini.
