Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 8, 2006 -- Garry Grant has joined the Orlando office of Harvest Home Mortgage as the company’s branch manager. In his new position, Grant will help to grow the company by increasing loan originations, as well as hiring and training additional staff in the Orlando area.
Grant, who began with Harvest Home Mortgage in November 2005, most recently served as a loan originator for Countrywide Home Loans in both Orlando and New York City, as well as held a similar position at Lend America. During his five years as a loan originator, Grant helped clients acquire the best loan choices to fit their mortgage needs.
Hosting a radio show on Central Orlando’s WOKB AM 1600, Grant reaches out to the public by offering practical insight to listeners who want information about mortgage options.
Originally from Jamaica, near Kingston, Grant is active in Orlando’s Caribbean community, and takes an active role in grassroots efforts to educate the population on lending practices. He is a member of the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Orlando.
Grant joined the United States Marine Corps after high school, and served for eight years where he rose in rank to Corporal, with training in infantry combat and logistic vehicle systems. While in the Armed Forces, Grant attended Park College where he majored in accounting.
