Hicks brings a strong sales and customer service background to the New York and Boston publishing markets. Since 2001, Hicks had covered a large southern territory for Four Colour Imports that ran from North Carolina to Texas. In that time, Four Colour Imports saw a dramatic increase in book manufacturing orders from publishers based in the South for illustrated and children's books.
