Michael Ansa Joins Interaction Associates as Collaboration Consultant

Interaction Associates, a learning and performance improvement company with more than 35 years’ experience, announced it has hired Michael Ansa as a Consultant in its San Francisco office.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 8, 2006 -- Interaction Associates, a learning and performance improvement company with more than 35 years’ experience, announced it has hired Michael Ansa as a Consultant in its San Francisco office.

Prior to Interaction Associates, Ansa worked as Dean at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, California, where he directed the school’s strategic initiatives in Diversity and Leadership. Having grown up in Ghana and emigrated to the U.S. in 1991 to study Theology at Boston University’s School of Theology, Ansa’s interests lie in how meaning, language, roles and values are negotiated and maintained in social settings as well as within the cultural life of organizations. Ansa says, “The immigrant knows how to do this effectively, but we all should.”

His private consulting in independent schools with his group, The Other Project, helped schools develop an understanding of, and strategy for, dealing with issues ranging from change management to employee and student retention. “I have always been interested in not only the unspoken rules of organizational culture, but also, how those rules are contracted, and ways in which participants may be the unaware of these silent contracts and their impacts,” Ansa said.

Ansa successfully partnered with the Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC) to deliver Facilitative Leadership© at independent schools in both Boston and the Bay Area. He has presented extensively at the national and regional conferences for teachers and school leaders. Ansa holds an M. Div in Theology from Boston University, and will complete his Executive MBA at Pepperdine University in March. He lives and works in San Francisco.
