(PRWEB) February 8, 2006 -- Dunkadelic.com has come up with the "Phattastic 50". The 50 Greatest players of All-Time to wear the Kentucky, N. Carolina, UCLA, Kansas and, Duke uniforms. Legendary icons Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Dan Issel, and Bill Walton head the list. Players were ranked from 1-50 with 75% of the rating coming from their college careers at "The Phat 5" and, 25% coming from their professional careers. There are 8 Hall of Fame Players, 17 NBA MVP awards and, countless National Player of the Year winners on this impresssive list. Kentucky(UK), Kansas(KU) and, N. Carolina(UNC) abbreviations will be used after each player who attended those programs. Each program was given a (tie) for an additional player to the list. The # 23, 38, 39, 45, and 50 are the 5 tie numbers.

N Carolina had the most players selected with 13, Duke was second with 12, UCLA was third with 11, Kentucky with 10 and, Kansas with 9.
There were some great players who missed the "Phattastic 50" list here's the honorable mentions Bobby Jones, Kenny Smith, Rasheed Wallace and, Jerry Stackhouse of N. Carolina. Gene Banks, Shane Battier and, Dick Groat of Duke. Baron Davis, Richard Washington (1975 NCAA Tournament MVP) and, Don McLean (UCLAs' All-Time leading scorer) of UCLA. Antonie Walker, Kenny Walker and, Pat Riley (4 NBA Championships as coach of the LA Lakers) of Kentucky. Raef LaFrentz, Jaque Vaughn and, Darnell Valentine of Kansas.
There will be some debate on who should be on or off the list. The players selected were the 50 best based on the criteria followed by Dunkadelic.com.
