SEAN Announces Opening of Moh’s Rocks, Minerals and Fossils Website.

SEAN, the Science Education Affiliate Network announced today the opening of their Moh’s Rocks, Minerals and Fossils website. This ecommerce site specializes in rare and unusual rock, mineral and fossil specimens from around the world. All specimens are of museum quality.

“Moh’s is not your grandfather’s rock collecting website,” said SEAN manager David R Williams, “Instead of offering specimens you can pretty much find anywhere else, we feature specimens the average collector would need to spend a considerable amount of time and effort to find, and they certainly would not be able to find them all in one place.”

Of special note is the “Meteorites, Volcanoes, and Other Oddities” category where the collector can find such rare items as meteorite crust, Darwin glass, glacial till and impactite - Fused meteorite and rock fragments from an impact crater.

The site also features activity kits that explain how fossils are formed, rock tumblers and other geologic apparatus, and museum-quality dinosaur models.
