Seasoned security executive opens two more US offices to help meet growing demand for Host Intrusion Prevention Systems.
Ottawa, ON and Reston, VA (PRWEB) February 7, 2006 -- Third Brigade, Inc., a provider of Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), today announced the appointment of Carlos Gonzalez as Vice President, Sales, The Americas. Gonzalez brings to Third Brigade a proven track record of building successful, high growth sales teams for leading IT security companies, and will help Third Brigade address the growing demand for Deep Security, its intrusion prevention system.

Mr. Gonzalez has more than 15 years of high-tech experience in the areas of domestic and international sales, business development and customer service. At Third Brigade, Gonzalez will expand the company’s sales channels, work closely with business partners, and build and maintain customer relationships.

Prior to joining Third Brigade, Gonzalez served as regional Vice President, Sales for Thor Technologies, an Identity and Access Management company, which was acquired by Oracle Corporation in November of 2005. Before that, he was Vice President, Sales for ZixCorp, which provides secure messaging solutions to the healthcare and financial sectors. At Entrust Technologies, Gonzalez was the Vice President, Sales for Latin America. Gonzalez began his sales career with Cabletron Systems, a networking company, where he spent eight years in various sales and management positions.
