Komunik Announces Appointment of Benoît Éthier as Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Éthier will lead the development of Komunik’s Next-Generation Enterprise Marketing Management Technology.
Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) February 10, 2006 -- Komunik, the marketer’s essential companion on the road to full customer relationship optimization, announced today the appointment of Benoît Éthier as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Éthier joined the company last May with the acquisition of Croix Grise and assumed a strategic role as Technology Advisor and Senior Software Architect.

Mr. Éthier has over 25 years of experience in the IT sector in a wide variety of roles, from senior consultant to entrepreneur and CTO. During his time at Diesel Marketing as Vice-President Strategy and Technology, he was responsible for growing the reputation of the agency from a traditional shop to a technology innovator. During this time, he built the architecture of many prestigious Quebec websites, including Cirque du Soleil, Rêno-Depôt, Domtar, and Tourisme Québec.
In 2002, Mr. Éthier shifted his focus toward business intelligence strategies and he launched his own company, Virtual Object. Mr. Éthier later joined Croix Grise as Chairman of the Board. In this role, he helped the management team develop a strategic framework for marketing management, including improvements like marketing dashboards, quality management processes and technology infrastructure review for clients such as Tourisme Montréal, Disnat Direct - a division of Desjardins, GazMetro and Talvest.
Mr. Éthier’s appointment is effective immediately.
