Holiday in the Pixels; It's not an Island in the Caribbean

A new holiday billboard website has emerged and has gained much interest. www.pixelholidays.com

(PRWEB) February 11, 2006 -- It’s arrived, the holiday homepage ‘pixelholidays.com.’

A billboard of holiday companies, destinations, hotels, airlines and holiday related companies for consumers to surf and hit on a specific web link item, taking them to the designated website.

In the few weeks since it emerged, the likes of Virgin Holidays, Australian Pacific Touring and others have jumped onboard the site. Nigel Storer, one of pixelholidays.com founders said “We are overawed by the interest the site has attracted, we are currently getting over 1,000 hits per day for the site and we haven’t even started marketing it yet”.

Born from the idea of the successful ’milliondollarhomepage.com’ created by Wiltshire student Alex Tew last August, pixelholidays.com is a dedicated holidays homepage which will generate awareness for companies in the holiday and travel sector and will reach out through global advertising.

If it is to follow the same path as Mr Tews’ site, the billboard which has a direct link from the MDHP could look full by the end of summer, with hits reaching over 10,000 per day.
Sales Director Paul Irish said” Our aim is that with increased public awareness, people will automatically go to pixelholidays.com for holiday inspiration, we’ll keep you posted”.

Whatever the outcome for Pixel Holidays, it certainly looks too big to be ignored, watch this space.
